Somehow, even when im not grouped with him, i can track a fellow guildie throughout the world. I zoom out on my map and theres a marker for wherever he goes. I was wondering wat fascinating addon is doing this?

looked a bit deeper... is it Cartographer's Guild Positions maybe?

yep, it is. Any of your guildies that also use Cartographer will relay their location to you.
