Smaller-View Map remedy

I gave up hope on ever having my icons and other things showing on Carbonites smaller-view map. My remedy was to resize Carbonite's larger-view map down to the size of the smaller one. Now, I can see icons, etc. that weren't visible on the original smaller-view map. I just have to remember to hit the 'M' key twice, since the original smaller one pops up by default. Pressing 'M' again covers that map up with the larger one (they are the same size now). Simple. I only wish there was an option to stop the original smaller-view map from popping up, since it has been worthless anyway. I'm also going to miss having a large map, but it's worth the sacrifice, for me.
