Missing Map information/comments

One of the real features of Carbonite is its ability to leave notes to myself

. Which node a Mob spawns at or great farming zones or other such information. My problem is that perodicly for (currently) unknown reasons it seems that carbonite looses the data file that contains all my map messages. Is thare a method of relocating and restoring the data file that contains the notes I left for myself... I feel like I am suddenly only 50% as effective as I was just yesterday

... Would LOVE to get my information back...

99% of Carbonite's saved data goes into:
WTF\Account\<name>\SavedVariables\Carbonite.lua

That is the file you would backup. Carbonite never deletes that file and only resets chunks of data if I increase the version number for that type of data, which I almost never do and have not done for Favorites.

If the file gets corrupted or missing, it will be recreated with default values.

The games makes a Carbonite.lua.bak file in that folder, but it happens rarely, so it will most likely be old.
