I think it might be a "BonusScanner" or "GearScore" problem, turned both off and have not had the bug come back yet.

Blizzard in it's infinite wisdom, released a patch, full of errors.... Which were not high on a priority list. the 'inspect' feature, being one of them. nUI is not the cause of the issue, ANY addon that 'inspects' ppl (IE GEarscore) will cause this error to happen, or even just being in a group with someone, WOW will cause this error, with NO addons turned on. So we must wait while Blizzard Attempt to figure out the problem, and to fix it.

You probably have "other" addons besides nUI that do Inspects. Scott has disabled Inspects in nUI till Blizzard fixes their error. GearScore may be your culprit based on your list of addons.

I would try disabling mods one at a time until you find the culprit. nUI has disabled inspection, so that won't be the cause.
