one question ok maybe two

I have a pretty big screen is there a way to enlarge the entire UI I know this probley isn't on your end but, I thought I would ask here anyway cause this is where I have the account at.

if not is there a way to enlarge just the cooldown bars cause thats really what I want just the cooldowns the ones off to the left and right side

BTW I love your mod.

I'm pretty sure that nUI scales automatically, therefor looking the same on a big screen as on a smaller one.

Yes... nUI is self scaling to fit whatever display and resolution that you're using. If you want to make the entire UI larger that's a problem because then your chat frame and info panel would be pushed off the edge of the display.

However, if what you're looking to do is make individual components larger, such as the cooldown bar, you can do that. Just edit [ Interface > AddOns > nUI > Layouts > Default > HUDLayouts > nUI_HUDLayout_{hud mode}.lua] and you'll see a section in there for the cooldown bar that you can use to change the size of the bar. The "how" should be pretty obvious when you look at it.

The same would be true for most of nUI's components.

You can edit lua files with notepad. Just right click the file and choose either "open with" or "default program". You may have to browse to find it.

My bust... that should have been [ Interface > AddOns > nUI > Layouts > Default > HUDLayouts > {hud mode} > nUI_HUDLayout_{hud mode}.lua ]

{hud mode} isn't going to be a folder Scott used that name to indicate to you that each mode of the hud has it's own folder instead of typing out " [ Interface > AddOns > nUI > Layouts > Default > HUDLayouts" five times. Example: If you use the player/target mode of the hud than you will go into the playertarget folder and make the changes there.

ok well I still need some help I'm not sure what I need to change. I'm not sure what I need to look at either though. =( I have never really done any editing

I'm not talking about the hud though I'm talking about the cooldown bars on the FAR right and FAR left right above the chat*far left* and right about the Bags *far right*

I don't think that has anything to do with the hud does it? cause I was looking and I changed some things that I thought it might be and it wasn't even close

so someone please help

you know what you might be right it might be easier just to edit that instead of what I wanted.

Ah! Okay... those aren't cooldown bars... those are your buffs (left) and the debuffs on the target (right) and making those bigger is much more complicated editing.

The better idea is probably that you download the aura buttons plugin from the "nUI: Unit Frame Panels" section at http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/cat125.html
