HELP with this UI mod please someone

I love this chat frame mod, however anytime I try to use a new macro it says there is an error with it stating its trying to do something only doable by default blizzard UI, if anyone can solve this I will be very very grateful.

any of the new macros that came out with 2.0, /use or /target etc etc

Ok, I misread your post. I thought you were using old macros. My guess is the chat frame is doing something incorrectly. What is it about the addon you like maybe there is an alternative (like Prat).
