Quest Sound Request!

I know I posted this somewhere else, but I think I'll take a shot at it here. I've been using Carbonite for quite some time now. Questing, dailies, gathering, routing. Anyways, I remember always liking the quest sound feature. Now from what I remember, the quest sounds were played separately from the sfx. Now I have to have my sfx on in order to hear the quest complete sounds. Is there a way to go back to where I don't have to have my sfx on at all? I know other addons have that option. Ie; DBM, Zygor, etc. It'd be great.
