Random golden swirls/sparks

I really can't think of a better title.

Over the years of playing WoW, I've occasionally seen these appear out of nowhere, stay for a few seconds, and disappear again. They're animated, but stay in place. Sometimes, several of them spawn in succession. Nobody I've ever asked had any idea what I was talking about.





Just focus on that please - ignore my spec etc etc it's just for RP. I didn't crop the screenshots so you'd get an idea about their size.

I've seen them spawn mostly in Stormwind and now in Ashenvale, typically when there are few other people around.

Anyone have an idea?
