Carbonite and Windows 7

Until now I've been on a Mac and carbonite worked fine, last night I got a new PC with Windows 7. I'm having trouble installing Carbonite and need a little help. I download fine and the folders show up on my desktop, but then when I try to locate my WoW addons folder to put Carbonite in there, I can't find it. Help?

The carbonite folders go in your wow folder wow\interface\addons

You said you can't find this folder, you may need to either
1) run wow 1 time until you're in game, then log out, they should be created.
2) create them yourself.

If you can't find the Wow folder, be sure to check both "Program Files" folders if you have Win 7 64-bit.

I've been in game and still can't find the folder. I checked in Program Files and I find the World of Warcraft folder, but a search doesn't bring up addons. I don't know how to create them myself....

Other addons work but when I do a search for them on my computer, they don't show up either. it's like the addons file is there, just hidden somehow.

The properties of the shortcut you launch WoW with will show the path to the WoW folder.

Vista and probably Win 7 default to putting WoW at:
"C:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft"

Carbonite installed looks like this:
"C:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\Carbonite"
"C:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\CarboniteNodes"
"C:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\CarboniteTransfer"

Thank you so much, that worked! I had to type in the whole address you gave to find it, for some reason, just searching for addons wasn't working. I was going to be really upset not to be able to use my favorite addon!
