A Warlock specific NUI+ Question...

I just respecced from destruction to demonology with metamorphosis and have a problem...
when I shift into demon form I dont get the new bar with meta specific asttacks on it, it usually appears like a second pet bar but not since I installed NUI... Other bar changes work eg: Malygos phase 3 but just not this one... any help greatly appreciated, if it helps I have NUI GUI installed as well

I have a lock spec'd that way myself and I have no problem with it. Are you sure you have your main action bar on page 1?

This is probably one of those changes that require the first action bar to be in use as your main action bar. It's also possible that this bar turns into the bar on the bottom right.

First, make sure that your normal action bar is selected and then shift. Come to think of it maybe nothing changes at all though, as I cannot recall it saying you can't fight like normal when in that form.

My warlock doesn't have that talent at the moment to test it though to confirm.

you can fight as normal and cast shadowbolts etc but you also get a bar with extra abilities ^^

well... so far no joy but try and try again

nope nothing is working, i've followed your advice and checked just about everything, its not posessing any of my bars or adding another bar somewhere... oh well its only a taunt and additional melee attacks I am missing if I remember correctly and they arent important for a raiding lock lol.

still love the UI ^^

With the new respecs I think I'll be speccing low enough to grab that one myself so will be able to check it out too. Once I can get in game of course.

Bah, need to get 1,000 gold gathered for at least my main raiding toon so I can dual spec her.

Okay, playing my lock at the moment .. I level a toon while grinding for buff food for my raiders

Anyway,

Test 1 - Pet Active .. no change of bar.
Test 2 - Pet Inactive .. no change of bar.
Test 3 - No nUI .. no change of bar

Looks like bliizard has decided you to drag the skills from your spellbook and put them on your action bar as normal

I smell a metamorphosis addon in my future

I haven't had a chance to test this yet... so if you log in with no mods enabled and use metamorphasis, you don't get a new bar now?

Yep it just stayed on my normal action bar. I even toggled through just in case it simply wasn't switching.

Also, I don't remember the demon skills being in your spell book before but I had never really played with that side of my demonic tendencies

I'll do some screen shots in a few.

I dunno... that really sounds like a WoW bug to me... even if they are in the spellbook, still seems to me like there should be a shapeshift bar for locks... just like rogue stealth, etc.

Does anyone have a shadow priest? I wonder if their bar changes in shadow form.

Hmm .. good question .. think that is going wrong too .. in the middle of healing in ulduar on my priest at the moment but when I finish I'll switch back and test it but I really do think thats messed up too

Druid I will test too but don't recall any problems there though.

edit:

Okay, shadow priest switching is working fine. And I am sure druid is fine as I have done bear and cat fighting the last couple of days with no problems. So just warlock.

so I am not going crazy lol...
for now I have dragged them to the bar on the right just below
my main bar but I always remembered it switching

Its a pain as I am using meta + fire aura a LOT on aoe
(for example on XT's scrapbots, I use glyphed meta+ fire aura and RoF)

and with how few attacks demon form has i'd like it to switch to a bar
that I could put my rotation, demon attacks and rain of fire on
(I use clique+ focus for banish/tongues so that is no problem)

I curse you blizz and with something nastier than agony! lol

I would go to the suggestions forum on Bliz's site and petition them on that one. I can't imagine why they did that.
