Friends vanishing

I have a problem that I'm trying to track down which mod is causing it to happen.

When I log into any toon all my friends are removed and they are re-added. While this is probably the desired behavior (for some mod based reasoning) what is happening is that 1-2 names are permanently removed from the list. So after a handful of logins the list continues to get smaller as friends are removed.

With no mods loaded the behavior goes away.

I've done a search of all Addons for the word "friend" and am slowly going through disabling those mods.

I vaguely remember reading a mod description (on Cursed I think but maybe on WowInterface, since these are my preferred mod sites) saying that this remove and re-add was implemented in a mod but for the life of me I cannot find that post or Google anything close.

So, anyone have an idea what mod could be causing this full remove and re-add ? Alternatively is there a specific lua function that I could search for in my mod folders that would find mods with the ability to perform this behavior ?

I myself have posted advice to others on this (and other forums) to troubleshoot this type of situation by eliminating mods in blocks. I will be following my own advice.

In the meantime I'd be very grateful if someone could help out with a mod function / lua call I could track down to speed up my troubleshooting.

Edit : It appears to have been an old version of SpamSentry - I've removed that and the issue is now resolved.

I cannot see how spamsentry was causing this, as it, as far as I am aware, has nothing to do with your friends list...

I must admit to being a bit unsure but in removing and re-adding mods in alphabetical blocks the only one left out at the end once the problem behavior was fixed was Spamsentry. I guess a logical next step would be for me to re-enable it and see if the problems comes back. I'd like to run for a day or two in a working state before I do that just to make sure it was not some other mod with corrupted variable files that caused this that was somehow resolved with a step-by-step disable and re-enable sequence.

To my original question though, are there any obvious indicators in lua code as to what I *should* look for in a mod ?
