Key bindings and cool downs

I have the newest download of NUI+ and have these issues on 2 computers/accounts. Issue #1 key bindings, for some reason if I ctrl-Alt-right click on the button the key binding menu will not allow me to add a key binding or it will but it will not stay. I have to use the Blizzard default binding menu. If I log off they go away, Issue #2 cooldown alerts, on both computers if we say tap a mining node or do some leather working we get cooldown alerts for “throw” and some other items popping up on screen, hell my mage does not have throw LOL. The cool downs are just a bit annoying no real big issue but the key bindings are.

Hmmm...

I'm curious... if you change a slash command setting on the accounts that you can't save key bindings on, does that setting revert also when you log out and back in? For example... use '/nui roundmap' to change the shape of the minimap and log out then back in... does it keep the new shape or does the shape change back?

As for the cooldown thing... apparently some toons have this issue and it appears to be related to having a GCD that is longer then the 2 second default that I use. Try using the command '/nui hud cdmin 5' and see if it goes away.

OK, the “/nui hud cdmin 5” command worked to clear the cooldown issue. As for the “/nui roundmap” it stayed round on logout and back in, now stupid question how to get it back square? I tried “/nui squaremap” but it is still round.

Just do '/nui roundmap' a second time. It's a toggle command.

Are you trying to do different key bindings for each character or the same keybindings on all of your characters? If you are setting your key bindings one way on one toon and then changing them on another toon, that will overwrite the first toon unless you have your key bindings set up to save per character.

i am setting them for each toon, and have it set to save bindings per character using Blizzards key binding interface. I have also found that some of the items i place on one of the bars will be gone the next time I log in. On my mage i had 2 of the same spells on the bar, so I replaced one of the spells with a health pot for easy access, logged out and came back later and found the 2 spells back again.

Well... something's going on on the Blizz side then, because nUI does not save the information on the action bars or the key bindings. It sounds like something is preventing your data from being updated on the Blizz server when you log out. It wouldn't be nUI because it has no role to play in that.

Blizzard have issues!?

you know not... They never have issues or change things in the middle of something

That's why while on a flight to Dal, I got DC'ed and when I got back on I fell through Dal and crashed in the forest below without any name or graveyard info. Could not rez, had to get a GM to reset it.

Anyway thanks for the help and the great UI.
