Question on Nodes

I was wondering if there is a way to hide specific nodes?

For example I was farming Elementium today, and the routing feature sent me to an area where there are several nodes in a cave. I really wasn't in the mood to clear the cave out, and thought I must not be the only one. In this case, I would like be able to not route to those nodes inside the caves.

I figure this would involve needing to edit the data tables, I just don't want to try to mess with them directly, and hoping there was a solution through the UI.
