nUI on 1024x768

I was so excited to use nUI, and it looks great in game, but there's no way I'm using it until I build my new rig and buy a new monitor. Running nUI on low resolution is a no-no, at least for me. The action bars are way too tiny! >_<

I can't wait to try it out again on my new PC. (Should have it before summer)

In all fairness, nUI's default layout pretty much is intended for a minimum of a 17" monitor up to about 22" or 24" -- anything smaller is pretty tough and anything bigger is pretty huge.

I doubt I'd get anything bigger than 24", anyway. Does it support widescreen?

It's pretty much made for widescreen but will scale appropriately for most standard size resolutions also. On a widescreen monitor, the UI takes up a smaller portion on the top and bottom giving you more space to see the world.

22" widescreen here, gotta echo that sentiment though, definitely a thing of beauty

I recently switched from a 19" to a 24" wide screen. It was an adjustment for sure as all of a sudden my dashboard took up a large portion of the vertical as it stretched to the sides fo the screen. After a couple weeks I didn't notice it any more and can't stand seeing my wife's nUI on a 19" (the chat window is tiny and the Omen/Recount bars are so short ).

Yeah, I got that when I went over to the States for 3 months using a wide screen 22 inch screen compared to the small 15 inch I use over here.

Over here the vertical portion is small, granted the writing is small too but oh well. Over there though it seems to take over half the height of the screen and hardly any visual portion which is just as annoying. So Catch 22 situation. Nice view space on small screens but smaller writing. Smaller view space on larger screens but dashboard seems to be enormous.

There is an option you can use to scale it down some... check the FAQ.

22" widescreen here too, and I'm still trying to get use to all this new screen-estate lol.

Yeah I think I tried that before I saw the guide suggestion you scale before putting the addon on because scaling with it active freaks it out from memory.

Will be a few months at least before I go back there so no real biggy for me. Back to my lil ole 15 inch monitor and 1280x1024 screen setting.
