Carbonite not marking new artifact node spawn points

Hi, I have recently been doing some pesky archaeology and new nodes that I dig up are not being added to the existing node spawn points with an icon.

I uploaded the archaeology nodes and selected to track them. The node spawn points that were included in the upload show up just fine with an icon the mini map, but after I dig up a new node that was not on the mini map, it does not track the new spawn point with an icon like the other nodes. It tracks new node spawn points for other professions like herbalism and mining, but not for archaeology.

I am wondering if anyone else is having this problem and/or if there is a way to fix this. Thank you.
