Annoying beeping sound

Is anyone else experiencing this? One by one I disabled my addons and whenever carbonite is enabled, I get this terribly annoying and erratic beeping sound. Sometimes the beeps are quick in succession and other times they are spread out.

I've disabled all sounds I could find (only found two) and it's still going on.

My sanity pleads with you for a solution
