searching guide

The guide search feature does not seem to work for me. not sure if I am doing something wrong. It seems that no matter what I enter, I find nothing.

At first I was trying to search for a specific NPC so that I could route to them. Then I just tried searching for "innkeeper" for instance. (I know I can just click innkeeper, but I was just trying to search for something I knew was in the DB)

Is there a common mistake people make about searching? Should I be able to search/find and route to any NPC in the game by name?
