I found a bug with Quests, if i go to the minimap, select the red questionmark.

I can enable/disable the quests givers, but it shows me all of them instead of the ones I still need to do.

Offcourse I have disabled the selection in front show "completed quest givers"

Also the buttons like dungeon eye is not working, but i'm guessing that already known

Thanks so much for the 4.0 compatible update! I ran straight to pay pal to offer tribute *bowing in abject gratitude*

One teensy request - please restore the flashing nodes for gathering features - made 'em so much easier to see on the mini-map.

That is fixed in 4.0004+.
Set the glow delay back to .4 if you had set it to 0.

That is a game bug. Log out and back in when it happens. Blizzard should fix it soon I hope. If not, then we may need some hack.

Make sure "Display Lua Errors" is on. Read about it here:

That is not Carbonite. It says WorldMapInfo addon.

Having an issue with Carbonite on the minimap, with the new 'tracking' on the map, that even though I only have track minerals checked, Carb is tracking all items, make for a hard time, when flying around looking for nodes to mine, and I'm finding NPCs as well, and everything else in the list.

But havnt found any other problems yet....

Edit... In Argent Tourney, looking at the daily quests giver.... NOTHING set to track, but the Blue ! and a yellow dot flash in an alternating fashion.

I also ran into the "you are not in a guild" chat spam, but it did appear to be directly related to Carbonite. I'll describe the situation when it started, and what I did to stop it:

The messages started to appear while in Wintergrasp. They may have been happening the entire time, but I really didn't pay attention until after the battle was over (I was kinda busy lol). The messages popped up every 30 seconds or so. I happened to notice that only one other guild member was online, and I know for certain that member doesn't use Carbonite. I went into the options under Privacy & Com, and unchecked the options to send position and level ups to guild. The spam stopped as soon as I unchecked it. I waited about 2 minutes to be sure, and then re-checked it. The spam started again as soon as I checked it. I then unchecked it one last time, and have not seen the message since.

I hope this information is somehow useful. If this is the same WoW issue already described, well... at least I tried

Low frame rate

Thanks for the carbonite, however when I play with it on, I get 3-4 fps, but when I turn it off, i get 36 fps. I even turned the graphics all the way down but it still stays around 3 fps. It doesn't do it right away and it affects only one character at a time. I can still play others with carbonite at a good frame rate. I even tried deleting the WTF, cashe, and Interface folders and playing again (after redownloading carbonite of couse ), but to no avail.

I had a quick question regarding quest tracking. I'm noticing that the watch colors don't seem to be showing up anymore? Is that part of the mapping fix for the minimap..? Or do I have something misconfigured?

edit: nm, I'm an idiot.

You are probably getting Lua errors and can't see them. Turn on error messages.
Read this:

Make sure your Carbonite version is 4.0004+

Carbonite uses the hidden addon guild channel to send status updates, just like if you sent a message in guild chat, which triggers the Blizzard bug either way.

Turning off the option works, but your guild members with Carbonite will no longer be able to see you on the map. If you care, then you'll have to remember to turn it back on when Blizzard fixes it, but you may forget. The same bug may of course pop up when you send guild chat anyway. There may be more info on the Blizzard forums. I have not had time to check.

Bugs

So I have carbonite 4.0005.
I've run it with carbonite being my only active add on.
And still my quest list, log, and map don't update when I complete a quest?
Then when I do it spams my chat with the completed message.
Is this being fixed or is there something I should be doing differently or an option I can turn off to fix this?
Seems to only happen on my none 80 toons.
Also is anyone else having this problem?
Help would be much appreciated.

Often people update and put the files in the wrong location, but think they have the current version.

Does it actually say 4.0005 in the chat window when you log into a character?
You can also see the version number in the addon list.

Come to think of it, that could also be an addon conflict. Disable all others and test.

I've read all recent bug posts and you seem to be the only one. Others were having similar problems from using old versions.
