looking for mining map

I was wondering is there is a map add on that will show me where all the mining is, if you can do this I would greatly appreciate it

Cartographer does this, as well as Metamap. They both have a feature of building a database of all mining, herbalism etc. Both can also import databases, afaik.

I am presently usoing cartographer but I was wondering if there was a database out there whre I can just goto the spot to find them with out having been there already

No, there is no database. The least you can do is ask for someone's saved vars.

This may be some help. I used the map on this web site to help level up my mining when I changed professions at level 63 on my hunter.

I can't testify for everything, but it was a great help narrowing down my mining search.

This map only has PRE BC mining and herb locations; however it does show the BC map and flight paths for horde and alliance.

There was a website that I came across some time ago (cant remember where, i think the link was on the wowace forums) that had a download for Cartographer that had all the Mining and Herbalism locations, someones savedvars im sure. Since I cant remember where the download was I'm going to just post copies of my database.

Just open the zip and place both files in your
World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\*YOURACCOUNT*\SavedVariables
folder.
