I just wanted to upload this animated gif somewhere. Apparently I can't attach animated gifs to a project.

Hmm I'm not sure I "get" what this addon does :P

Is it something like .. when the green bit of the spell gets between the icon and the line, you can recast it? I've never played a priest past lvl 20 though, so that might be the reason why I don't get it :P

green is what you're casting at the moment, grey is the cooldown of the spells.
The addon delivers an visual feedback and can help in testing new rotations.

This big white line is the present/current time, left=past, right=future. White bars are cooldowns/DoTs. To be more exact: The white bars represent the time when you either can't or shouldn't cast the spell. In the case of Vampiric Touch it's the DoT, minus the cast time (hasted 1.5s) at the end.
