Minimap Arrow

Is there anyway to increase the size of the minimap pointer/arrow to make it about 1/3 larger then it is now? For my old eyes it's very hard to quickly see which way Im faceing without turning around a few times
Another item I would like changed is the top console area be set to off & still have access to the player / help / achievement area if it's moved to another location?

Blizzard does not allow mods to access the POIs in the minimap. So I'm afraid there's nothing I can do about it.

This is not possible because the menu is tied to the console as its parent, so when the console hides or fades, it does as well. The only option would be to use one of the skins that does not have an upper console texture.
