Macro Tooltip

Why does this macro not show the Spell's tooltip on mouse-over?, It just says the macro's name

Code:
#showtooltip fireball
/stop casting
/cast fireball
Thanks

Ehh so i tried everything except changing the symbol of the macro, If I have the actual default fireball symbol it won't allow the fireball tooltip to show. All good now. weird
Edit: And a new finding If I make the macro symbol the red question mark it makes the symbol into the default fireball symbol. funky

Yep. I believe if you also use the question mark icon for cast sequence macros it will update those to show the correct icon as well, as you go through the sequence. (Not 100% sure though - I don't use cast sequence macros. )

It's pretty nifty, I'm very new to them. I have quartz so I'm doing the latency watch and /stopcasting thing. I have a a stop cast fireball, stop cast fireblast, stop cast frost nova, and arcane explosion ( rank 1 outof combat, highest rank in combat) macros so far.

Just noticed something, though - it's /stopcasting not /stop casting

You're right on that one. You can also add #showtooltip to the macro and then have the icon and tooltip change for every spell in the /castsequence
