Sadly, am not using nUI anymore

Even though I have donated to the cause I am not allowed to post this in the Supporters forum, so here goes.

I love nUI, It gives me everything I need in one package. However I found it IMPOSSIBLE to raid in 25 man Ulduar because of this UI. In Dalaran I was getting around 20-25 fps, in Ulduar on fights I was getting down to around 5-7 fps.

In fairness, I have arkinventory and atlasloot running too.

I finally gave in and disabled nUI and went to the vanilla UI. I got 50-75 FPS in Ulduar AND Dalaran and increased my DPS by about 500. I then enabled regular bartender 4, recount, Bigwigs, arkinventory, fubar, autobar and ag unitframe...still getting 50-75 fps in Ulduar 25.

There is something going on with nUI that is creating a bog down, and I don't know what it is.

I love this mod, but I can't continue to use it at this rate. I hope it gets fixed...or maybe I am the only one having issues. I don't know.

Splitail --

First... as was noted in the e-mail I sent to all of nUI's supporters... in order to access the nUI Supporter group, you have to request access to it. I've sent you the instructions via a private message since you either didn't get the e-mail I sent or didn't follow the directions.

Second... with regard to the FPS issues, this has been talked about ALOT on the support forum since the 3.1 patch. It's also a big issue on the WoWUI forums including people who are not using nUI... such as http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/th...03579613&sid=1 and several others. That said... I *am* working agressively on fixing the problem and expect to have another update this weekend which should continue to improve on the issue.

Ahh, sorry, I get about 1,098,958 emails in that gmail account >.< WIll try and sift through them to find the one you are talking about (I also never delete them which adds to the problem :O )

I read through http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/th...62146824&sid=1 and it seems to be a WoW wide issue, although my boyfriend doesn't ever seem to have any problems (but he doesn't use ANY mods). Hmmm. Well, until blizzard fixes the garbage collection issue with mods it's going to suck. I will keep checking back to see whats up, cause I HATE the UI I built trying to mimic nUI.

Hopefully I can get enough of the engine updated today that the problem will be relieved noticeably with tonight's update. No way I'll be able to do all the changes needed today, but I'm going to try and at least get the most high profile modules done if I can. There will be an update later tonight, so give it a go and see if it does the trick for you.

Psst, setting up folders and tags for your emails help big time. I only have about 10 mails in my in box .. the other hundreds are all split up into different tags and can be viewed separately. Its a great change and useful for me as I like to categorise things.
