Here's mine. I can't attach the pic to the post directly because of the resolution limits (I'm running dual 24" monitors @ 1920x1200).

Running Win 8 x64 with ViStart for the start button and the 8GadgetPack to get Win7 gadgets (the bar and gadgets on the left monitor).

Background is the wide screen theme - one of the ones that comes with Win 8.

Its a bit messy but works well enough for me.
Image name for bg is furnace by nichofsky d5mfi0t and was found on deviant art.
