Frost Warriors

Hello i remember reading a thread saying that nUI uses something to bring up talent specs of others and if another addon did it also you'd get frost warriors and fire paladins and combat priests so can someone help me? i need to know if any of the addons i have will do that and make me see combat priests and fire paladins

Not knowing what all of those addons do exactly I would hazard a guess that gup-character and ratingbuster may be worth checking out as I suspect that if they deal with a per character basis they may investigate talents at the same time.

hmmm idk about ratingbuster but gupcharacter just makes character pane bigger ill try it without ratingbuster and report what i find

oh i found out what it was i was using an addon that i hadn't updated but it got rid of alot of unneeded libraries

RatingBuster doesn't deal with talents. It's what gives you those neat percentages next to the stats on your gear.

Ah cool, I knew it was more likely to rate gear but wasn't sure if it looked at talents to make the calculation more accurate.

Actually, all of those gear calculating addons are going to cause this problem because you have to "inspect" the other character to do that and that's what causes this issue.

nUI6 will (hopefully) fix this problem.

RatingBuster doesn't rate gear in that sense. If you look on a piece of your own gear, or gear you're going to loot or whatnot, it might say it has +9 Intellect. It will take that number and put next to it; (+0.23% Spell Crit). It just converts the stat numbers on gear into percentages.

Yeah -- but the only way to see what gear the other player is wearing is to inspect them, and that's the thing that currently causes nUI's spec browser grief.

Yea but ratingbuster doesn't rate other peoples gear, hence no inspecting unless you do it, it only does stat conversions for gear you are looking at by adding info to the tooltip, it it compatible with nui and has never given me any issues
