Buff tooltips not showing on new release

For me at least, on the left side of the screen the buffs/debuffs you have on you are not giving the tooltip.

I am currently a hunter and it names the buff (spirit bond currently), but the tooltip does not pull up when I mouseover. This is the case for the full version, when I had the lite version loaded before I realized it was the lite, it did show the tool tips.

I am still fairly new and the tooltips are a huge help for me.

Any suggestions?

I did test this last night before I released this update and it was working at that time. Are you mousing over the icon, or just the name? The only part of the buff display that is "mouse active" is the icon.

I tried again, and on all of my other toons it is working fine, just not for my hunter on my main game pc, the weird thing is it is working fine on my backup computer, and I installed the same way on both.

On my main I even deleted the files, downloaded again and reinstalled, still not working right, oh well.

Not to big of a deal for me, the name still shows up fine, just not the tooltip.

Is it only while you're in combat that it doesn't work? If so, you might want to use the '/nui combattips' command.

For me, the personal buff tooltips on the left and the ones one the hud work fine.
The ones that don't are the mouseovers on the targets buffs displayed on the right, is that delibrate or a fault?

Yeah... I can confirm the target debuff tooltips are not working and that is a bug. I'll get that fixed.
