Nui Broken? Lua Error Report

I have disabled all addon's except for the Nui. When I log into my toon on World of Warcraft, the Blizzard button bars are showing over the Nui button areas (one bar along bottm and two on the right side of the screen). The Blizzard standard toon portrait is also displayed in the upper left corner of the field instead of the lower, center area of the nui. I am also receiving the following Lua Error. (Hope this is helpful.)

Message: Interface\AddOns\nUI\Main\nUI.lua:229: attempt to index global 'TargetofTargetFrame' (a nil value)

What version of nUI do you have and where did you download it from ?

That said, the error message you are showing I have seen posted on other forums here so I suspect it is something in 3.3 that has changed so I am wondering if you are using an old version of nUI unknowingly.

* Fixed a load error in nUI.lua referencing TargetOfTargetFrame which appears to have
gone away or become optional

The above is one of the latest version changes and thus further implies you have the wrong version installed somehow.

Yes... make sure you have nUI 5.06.04 or higher installed. Anything before that is not going to work with Patch 3.3

Re: Nui Broken? Lua Error

I am using nUI_5.04.00_Release from the nuiaddons.com download area.

I checked the website earlier this evening for a newer version of the addon after I saw that the 3.3 patch went up. I also updated all my other addon's through the curse.com client.

Am following your advice and found the newer version at wowinterface.com. Will download this and try! Thank you for your prompt replies.

Re: Nui Broken? Lua Error

You are forgiven! I absolutely love this add-on. I am an add-on junkie. At one time I had over 300 add-on's running... Eliminated most of them for various reasons. When I found this one! My prayers were answered!

Bless you for all your hard work. Looking forward to version 6.
