Carbonite stopped working after character import

Accidentally I clicked "Import character settings" (or similar like this) at the Carbonite Warehouse and imported an existing character, which has obviously not been exported/saved before.

As a consequence, Carbonite stopped working completely.
Only the minimap button is still there and clickable, however without functionality or <right click>-menu.

After that, a LUA error now occurs at each login:

I tried to uninstall and reinstall Carbonite after deleting the 4 folders in the interface\addons section after terminating the game, but the error remains.

Can someone please help me to revive Carbonite again?

To fully reset Carb you'll want to delete all the Carbonite*.* files in the \WTF\Account\YOURACCOUNTNAME\SavedVariables folder.

That will wipe every setting Carb has saved for all characters in one fell swoop. It will be just as if you had installed Carb for the first time.

Your proposal didn't work as is.

I additionally have had to delete the Carbonite*.* files in \WTF\Account\YOURACCOUNTNAME\realm\nick\SavedVariables
to bring the addon back to life
