Folks I know and trust at work informed me of a long-standing issue the Curse client had with a database security issue that basically damn near handed out passwords; I have a feeling that as a large part of the culprit, if not the whole thing. Luckily, I have an Authenticator and a larger, trickier password now, so that problem should be gone. Doesn't stop the issue at hand, sadly.

I cannot reproduce this no matter what I try (screen shot attached). I'm at a complete loss.

That said, I've uploaded a version of the info panel code that adds exception handling to try and keep nUI from breaking when it loads a broken information panel. Try placing that in your [ Interface > AddOns > nUI > Integration ] folder and see if that traps any errors.

EDIT: Okay... I was just able to trap a resize error in the Skada info panel. I'm looking into that as a possible cause of the issue you're having.

Okay... I've made a couple of changed to how plugins are initialized for 5.06.27 -- this will *hopefully* fix the problem you're having with Skada.

Thanks for trying to work with me. I'm just as stumped as to why things refuse to work.

Am I only supposed to enable the "Skada" addon, and not all its attachments for various functionalities? I'm still scratching my head over the whole situation. And, should I use that .lua you posted, or wait for .27 to come out?

Try picking up the 5.06.27 I just released and see if that doesn't fix it.

Ah ok I don't use the client, I do manual downloads, mostly because I'm used to that and only upgrade mods after patches

Good to see you got this resolved, I got hacked in TBC, but it was a keylogger that hitched a ride on a .rar file ( Audio CD ) I downloaded with a torrent file, you might wanna do a scan on your PC. ( Since I think I'm not the only one DL-ing CD's )

Check out Pandora... it's free and really good at playing the music you like. And, unlike downloading ripped CDs, the artists actually get paid for their work when you use Pandora (as they should)... and there's no risk of getting a virus using Pandora.... that's a win-win-win in my book.
