Am I allowed to post a zip file with text files of the /script sounds in it ?

I made a text file that has within it the /script commands to play any of the sounds you find in the MPQ files.

It's all my own work .... I extracted the MPQs , then made a listing of all the sound files extracted. I did the work of processing all the file locations into /script commands and wrote up some blurb for the zip file.

I'ld really really like to host this on wow interface. I don't see it as getting a lot of traffic and would save me a ton of time checking that links work or not.

Am I allowed to do this ??? I tried examining the help but sort of got glazed eyes

Even though it isn't an addon, I don't see the harm. I think it would see a lot of action though, if you could make it list the script via a slash command... ie. /"scriptshow" (or name of your addon) Black Temple or /scriptshow Inn, would bring up the list of scripts for Black Temple sounds, or the Inn respectively.

I think you misunder stand me here Yhor.

I don't want to make it an addon. It's just going to be a text file that lists /script commands.

So at this stage I don't wanna make an addon for it. I'm just asking permission to upload something that's technically not a mod.

I'm going to go with Yhor on this one. It'd be alot cooler if you bundled this in an addon. You could even make your own interface for accessing the sounds (sort of like how Atlas Loot organizes everything?). I'm sure plenty of people (on the forum, IRC, etc.) would help you if you're just starting out.
