nUI prevents Ovale from working

Retracted: did a clean install (several actually), and now everything works like advertised

nUI and Ovale seems to work just fine

I think the reason for the error was that I copied my previous Ovale WTF file. This time I didn't.

I will take a look at all of these this evening, but I'm highly suspect that nUI has anything to do with breaking any of these mods. I'll report back what I find.

Since that is a combat related addon in what way is it not working ? Is it that you cannot see any icons ? Did you see any appear when you entered combat ? It could be that the new fading ability on buttons is hiding the icons until you enter combat and you haven't seen them yet. Try turning off the fading option ( slash command should be in the release notes for version 12 ) and see if that helps.

I finally figured out what is happening with ovale, flighthud and nUI.

I have been using a fourth addon, called congratz, which, when used with nUI causes an ace error, which in turn prevents flighthud and ovale from working.

Used without nUI, congratz, ovale and flighthud works just fine - throw in nUI, and something in ace bombs.

There's no reason why nUI would break Ace.

If you disable everything except those three mods and nUI -- everything -- does it still break? What's the error message?

nUI doesn't break ace, Congratz does, when used in conjunction with nUI. Out goes Congratz.

Some time, when I'm feeling inquisitive, I will look into the issue - right now, I want to relax playing wow and get used to nUI, which I happen to like a lot.
