moving HUD items

I'm a pally healer and i love the space i have on my screen with this UI, however the right panel is just a bit small for healbot in 25 mans. is there a way to move the range finder and cooldown icons that show up on the lower part of the HUD to the top so i can fit my healbot there? great job on the UI btw

The best you can do using the built in options is to try and toggle the HUD. You should see the red HUD button in the center of the top bar. Click through the options until you find one that suits you. One of the presets may suit what you are looking for.

For text sizing, there's nothing in game that I'm aware of. You'd have to manually edit the Lua files.

Another option if nUI's frames do everythng you need, is to install Clique. That addon will allow you to use a very similar click to cast feature as Healbot without taking up anymore screen real estate.

**Edit: You can also browse through the in game command line options by going here http://www.nuiaddon.com/documentation.html

At present, the only way to go about move the items in the HUD around is to edit the HUD skin files in [ Interface > AddOns > nUI > Layouts > Default > HUDLayout > {hud mode} ]

Awesome, thank you. That helped out a lot and was able to move things around to where i like them. I've been looking around in the files to edit the text and box size of the "player buffs" and "target debuffs" panels, where might i find that source code at?

Another thing i've found is that when was making the adjustments on the HUD for one toon, the other toons HUD's dont follow suit, the scale and horizontal gap don't match. How can i get it so that all my toons HUD are the same?

'/nui hud scale' and '/nui hud hgap' are both toon specific settings... so you'll need to repeat that setting for each toon. Player and target (de)buffs are in the [ Interface > AddOns > nUI > Layouts > UnitPanel / {panel mode} ] files

Well... the DOTs shouldn't be covering up the combo points in the first place as that means they're covering up other things too. Let me look into it.

On the subject of hud scale, I noticed that is per character. However, what is confusing is I have the same settings for each of my characters, but the hud size is different. For instance if I set the hud scale to 1.0 for each character and look the hud takes up more space on some than on others. I can provide screen shots if needed.

Weirdly I have to set hud scale to 1.2 in order for it to be the same size on my DK as it is for my hunter who has it set to 1.0. Is this a known bug, or is the scale supposed to be different depending on character class?

I can't think of any reason why it would be different from one character to another unless there's something else altering your display scale between characters.
