New map notes don't show

Hi I have CarboniteBETA-530a1r2.zip. The map notes I made previously remain on the map, but as smaller yellow stars.

New notes that I make have a funny 2nd coord, e.g. 67.2, 1737.4, and do not show up on the map at all i.e. no yellow star.

How can I get the notes to work again?
