Disconnect

Hi all!
Sometimes I just want to switch quick to my friends account. And then that means /camp, wait 20 seconds and clicking back before I can even start entering his accountname. Now, that could be a lot faster if I just disconnect instantly. There are Lua scripts out there that *might* disconnect you, but I want one that always disconnects you(like linking a weird item from the database). Anyone knows one?

Got one better it isnt an addon the only draw back is you have to restart WoW...alt + F4 will just close WoW. But other than that I cant think of any.

I know this, I'm just interested if you can get deliberately disconnected.

1. Run (or hearth) to an inn/city. If you're resting, you can exit immediately. But look at ForceQuit() here: http://wowprogramming.com/docs/api_categories#client

2. Sharing accounts is against the EULA/TOS. Besides, no matter how much you trust your friend and their browsing habits, or they you/yours, sharing accounts makes your account twice as likely to be hacked.

Just open WoW in another window, alt+f4.

1: /exit
2: Sharing accounts, unless the account belongs to one of your parents and you are an under age minor child, is a big no no and against the EULA/ToS. If caught you can get that account permanently banned.

No it does not. I have Alt F4 bound to hearthstone. OS X FTW.

Also, if you want a fast disconnect, just pull your network cable.

If you are in an Inn, /exit disconnects you right then and there. No waiting. No countdown.

If you are not in an Inn, typing /exit brings up a box asking if you want to disconnect. Click yes and the game immediately closes. No waiting. No countdown.
