Blizz Buffframe remove

Hi, i am searching for a mod that only removes the standard blizzard buffframe

i use elkbuffbars, and i like them alot. i tought that there would also remove the blizz frame but the frame is still there an overlay two windows from me there.

as far as i know ElkBuffBars does remove the standard Blizz Buff Frames...otherwise u can also use BasicBuffHide

anyone a idea why they don't fade away ?

delete all ur Blizzard addons from ur Addons folder and then go ingame...the default buff frames will be gone

When you delete the blizzard addons, as soon as you log into the game it puts them right back. As far as elkbuffbars, check the settings, there should be an option in there to turn off the default buff frames. I use Pitbull and there is an option in there that you have to check to turn them off.

There isn't an option in EBB to hide the frames, because they hide/replace them by design. You have two mods fighting over the display of your buff frames. EBB and another one. Follow this guide to figure out which one.

Make sure that you have the updated EBB there is/was a version floating around that has been outdated for a while. I've run into this problem before and the fix is to dl the newest from wowace.com/files.

mh..don't really understand the guide ^^' not quite good in english

I have EBB, BasicBuffhide, AG_Unitframes ( changing with xperl sometimes but the problem is still with each of them ). dunno if simpleMinimap also do something with the buffframe, don't think so.

i think the fight what you said is between ag/xperl and ebb.. do you have some idea's pleas?

maybe it helps: when i enter an instance portal or somethin like that ( hearthstone also ) the blizzbuffframe fades away.. ( reload UI don't work )

Try posting a list of all your addons.

I don't use ag_UF but I do use XPerl. Make sure Player Buffs are turned off in the Player tab. I still think it's another addon you haven't mentioned that is conflicting since any buff addon I have tried automatically overrides XPerl's handling.

What's BasicBuffHide?

What that guide tells you to do is to make sure you have updated versions of all of your addons, and (if that doesn't fix a problem) to disable addons until you find which one is conflicting.

BasicBuffHide should simple hide the default buff frames ( have this from site one of this thread ^^ )

should be all updatet because ace updater and another one, i will look manualy if all are updatet

list of addons is below, not all of them are activated ( ag_unitframes/x-perl for an example ^^ )

Ah, forgot that was suggested. Anyway, get rid of it.

And I found your interfering mod (which you could have found by disabling anything that had to do with auras and buffs). It's Ash_PlayerAuras.

wuhu =) thanks alot, deactivates ash addonthing and there are gone *happy*

don't no really what ash was an addon, think shard ace maybe x).
maybe i should check my addon folder from time to time ^^

the Ash addons are the package which comes with DOTimer along with the Ash core and other extra stuff
