Well... as I stated... I do know there's an issue in nUI_UnitAura, nUI_UnitRaidSort and nUI_UnitSpec still and I am working on all three. That will make a significant difference when released... but I also know that part of this is related to Bliz's changes since 3.0 -- It's trying to code around that that's the challenge. In any event... I am working on it.

Hey Scott, I did your raid spec file thingy and was in Ulduar 10 man tonight and noticed a very large improvement. I still had fps drops but nowhere near what I was experiencing before I did that file swap. Just thought I would let you know.

I accidentally posted this in the other recent fps thread. So I figured I would copy paste it here.

/cheers

What I noticed that made a HUGE difference was deleting the 15, 20, 40 man folders (I learned this a few versions ago).

Developmental version (5.03.12 dev) deleting extra folders, putting in your special fix, I noticed my 10-man raid was running smooth (compared to normal), with exact number unavailable. Next time I'm in a 25-man (where I get low FPS, like 6-12 kinda range) I'll post again.

I too am having this issue.

I noticed that in raid nUI is consuming memory rapidly, then when it purges the memory, I get a .5 to 1 sec lag spike.

Has this been fixed? It seems like this thread died 2 weeks ago.

Some history...

Before I noticed this issue I was running on Vista x64 without any problems related to WOW and nUI. I reloaded the same PC with XP x32 and after a fresh install of the UI noticed this performance hit.

Let me know what has been discovered or any info I can provide to assist.
