Chat Tab Bar

I've looked for such an addon as the one I am about to suggest for a while, and had no luck whatsoever. If it's available, please let me know.

Being someone who gets easily confused by lots of conversation and spam, I use several different chat tabs to keep things organised. I have a main tab which displays most things, and then general/party/whisper/guild tabs for escape when things get a little overwhelming.

I have my party frames placed just above the chat window, which prevents both the chat tabs and party frames from being clicked. What I would like is a bar similar to ChatBar (which I use, by the way) with a couple of coloured buttons that I can click to switch "tab". The buttons and their colours could be configurable, or it could even be integrated into ChatBar.

I hope there is some sort of demand for such an addon, and perhaps someone will pick it up .

Really, REALLY old thread but I'm still looking for something like this. Is there still nothing available?
