No... but I fail to see why it matters that they show up as addons?

~confused~

Just so you are clear on it, and so that everyone else is clear on it too... the *number* of mods you have installed is not in any way important... what the mods *DO* is what counts.

In the case of the plugins you are referring to, they don't actually *do* anything at runtime. They just offer an alternate set of configuration data which is read when the program initializes. So they actually have zero additional impact at runtime. Literally zero.

oh ok, thanks for explaining that, i had no idea how these addons worked before you said that . So as far as addons i see they use memory, does that make a differeance? as in my QuestHelper, Auctionlite and nUI are the ones that use the most memory.

Also i do appologize if i have upset you, i'm not meaning to and as you can see from some of my screenshot i have not drasticly modified nUI i love the layout and the way it work, and i'm sure when you have time and get 6.0 done it will be even better.

Again sorry if I upset you with my questions.

No... you didn't upset me in any way... I just like to make sure people understand what it is that does and doesn't matter when trying to get the most of out of your addons.

How many addons you have and how much memory they use are not important. It's the impact they have on CPU cycles that matters. In fact, software engineers frequently trade more memory for better performance... that is, using more memory can often be a way to get better performance by "caching" data and otherwise taking steps to reduce CPU and network usage.

The only fair measure of performance is realtime impact versus how much work the addon is doing for you. The more work it does, the more impact it will have, but is the tradeoff in performance offset adequately by the gain in features/benefits... that's the only measure that matters.
