may be a focus issue
If I click on anyone in game NPC or player I can not click off them unless I click myself or another or move out of range. Is this a Blizzard thing or what?

It's a change Blizzard made... press "Escape" to open the WoW menu, select "Interface" and then (I think) "Controls" -- make sure the "Sticky Targeting" option is turned off.

You the man Scott, that fixed the issue! Blizzard needs to add or fix things that we need not crap like that.
