Unit frames not working in 5.06.11 (lite)

I just updated to v5.06.11 (lite), and now my unit frames are just gone. Rolling back to the previous version fixes the problem.

I also get the following Lua error along with the missing unit frames:

Did you try doing a "/nui rl" when you got that error?

My unit frames are not coming up in 5.06.11 Plus. I am getting an error (posted below). This is after both a reload and with no other mods loaded.

I am using + and getting:

Despite not having the chat frame available due to the break up during loading did you try /nui rl ? This is an error Scott has been trying to track down but as yet not located the cause. But a reloading of the UI usually fixes it for the session at least even if not permanently.

I would like to point out though that this has been for me only a recent problem as I never had this happen before 3.3.1 when I last played full time.

This appears to be related to the Boss frames.

I'm curious what "mode" the unit frame panel is in? Solo, Party, Raid xx ?

What happens if you log out the toon then remove the [ WTF > Account > {your account} > {your realm} > {toon name} > SavedVariables > nUI.lua ] file and log back in?

I did /nui rl to reload. I was solo at the time (broke on login).

Deleted the saved variable file for nUI and still have the problem.

Sorry.

Have you modified the layout files in any way? Did you install the entire package?

I used this release all weekend long and run a ton of heroics, etc, with it with no problem. The error you're reporting implies your layout files are damaged or incomplete.

What happens if you delete [ Interface > AddOns > nUI ] and then reinstall nUI from scratch?

No changes. Installed completely after deleting all traces of all mods from the WoW installation.

Running completely by itself. Not only other mods turned off, but removed from the Interface\AddOns folders and the saved variables at both the account and character level removed.

I have had problems with keybinds in the last few versions and only .08 works for me at the moment.

Still having the problem described above. Not sure what is going on

Are you running it on the test center ?

That has been where I have been almost repeatedly getting that options=nil error. I haven't used it on live yet though as currently testing my watchframe stuff on test still.

okay, spotted something else while on test server with this problem. It looks like it works for a few seconds then disappears and errors out. I saw a brief chat frame message output before that disappears.

I'll install a copy on the test realm and see what I see.
