Request: Minimal Hud

So I'm not a big fan of the normal hud, and I tried ripping through the lua but it seems a bit too complicated for me to make my own plugin to change the hud. So I was wondering if anyone would be willing to make a horizontal bar style hud that sits where the 'health race' bar would normally be. I don't like the health race as it doesn't display any health indicators. Basically just wondering if anyone would be able to make normal minimal horizontal health/mana/energy bars in place of the normal hud. It would clean up the screen a lot!

Something very similar to the simplehud, but with actual Health/Mana values shown below or above the bars.

I am almost certain I already posted code here once before that would add health and power values to the simple HUD. Check out the customizing forum here on the nUI boards and I think you'll find it.

It would much better if it's that simple to actually have this integrated as an option. I know you may not be developing v5 anymore but could something like this be added into v6 as one of the options?

EDIT: Simplehud also does not have bars for Mana, pet bars, or target of target.. Which would be much appreciated. It is also only active when in combat, which I would like something that works more like the normal hud, just reduced in size and horizontally located below the character.

The SimpleHUD works the same in and out of combat as the other HUDs... it just doesn't have bars and text for you to be able to see the alpha changes. However, the changes you're asking for really are a new custom HUD and no longer the Simple HUD. This should be no issue in the 6.0 but is a problem, as you note, in 5.x
