I want to register on the nui homepage to install nui
My problem is that everything work but not the Password and I don't know why

I don't think the new nUI site is fully live yet as Scott hasn't made an announcement to say that it's live.

I received an email from scott telling about the new website is up and running but when I go to the registration page I am not able to register. The problem is the registration button is non clickable.

There's a set of rules that need to be met before you can submit. They are listed at the bottom of the registration page and on the mouseover for each field. That's likely the issue. That said, I've heard from a couple of people using IE7 that they could not submit. They upgraded to IE8 and that solved the problem for them.

In short...

• your display name needs to be at least 6 characters
• your login name has be to at least 8 characters and cannot be the same as your display name or password
• your password has to be at least 8 characters and has to have an upper case, a lower case and a number in it
• your e-mail address has to be a valid address

As long as those conditions are met, you should be able to submit... each field will turn from red to green when it meets the requirement.

Yes, I followed the instructions to the T... all the fields turn green. I have IE9, so that may be the problem, will change it now to see if that will make it work!

Well... we've got close to 3000 signups in the last few days since the site went live, so I'm pretty sure it's working. Not sure what the issue may be.

I originally registered under the username and email address that I generally use. When I tried to log back in, it came up with my user name blocked, so I had to use a different email address/username/etc and reregister. I'm not exactly sure why it ended up blocked, but would appreciate any additional help to get it unblocked.

Send me an e-mail at [email protected] with the user name you want to use, the one you are using and the e-mail address(es) for each and I'll see what I can do.

It was funny because I sat there for like 15 min wondering what the problem was. Then I saw "an uppercase" >.>

Yeah... I just modified the signup screen a bit to try and make that stuff a little easier to understand.

It's all about security because unlike most sites, this one will be keeping information about the commissions people are earning, so I have to make sure the login and password system is a little more secure than usual.
