Is there a way to query the map position of NPC Units?

Hi all

After almost 3 years of abstinence I'm slightly back into addon development. I'm currently trying to catch up with all those changes, updates, etc. ... but to be honest I'm not fully up to date right now.

Does somebody know if there is an option to query the map position of NPC units? (like 'bossn')
Still not available? Or was something added/changed?
