Chat settings

For some reason, every time I login, I have to reset the font size. This is new behavior. Just wondering if I'm doing something wrong, and, if so, how to stop =P.

Are you running nUI 5.06.30? If so, then it should not be altering your chat settings in any way... I removed that from nUI.

Every time i log in now (this just started today) my chat box will only display one message. so if trade is going fast along with guild then i cant see anything. i cant see the arrows to move up and down the chat window eather. I have reloaded ui, restarted wow, and reinstalled 5.06.30 HELP!!

Are you using any chat mods with nUI? (Prat, Chatter, WIM, etc)

Sorry for bumping this thread, but same-ish issue so didn't make sense to start a new one.

I am having issues where I have to change the settings in my Combat window to show Item Loot and Money Loot and Skill Ups and to NOT show Tradeskills. I have to do this every time I log in or reload the UI. I do use Prat, but this issue never existed in Prat until I added nUI to the mix. I am also using version 5.06.30. If this is an option that would work fine if I were not using Prat, then is there any chance that the option to copy/paste will be added to chat in nUI?

I've just disabled Prat and tried it again with default chat, and the issue still stands. But again, it does not exist without nUI installed.

Hmm... I can't think of a reason why nUI would interfere with the chat filter settings. But, I'll add it to my list of things to look into.

Is this a problem with the default General chat frame or a custom one you created or are you using one of my chat plugins ?

nUI_Chat - will keep your settings
nUI_Whispers - will reset to only store whisper related messages
nUI_GuldChat - will reset to only store guild related messages

Each of these addons create a new chat frame.

It's not a new tab, it's the default Combat tab on the right side of the screen in the Info Panel. There are 3 options on it. Self, Everything and What Happened to Me? All three of them are set to not show loot, and to show tradeskills every time I log in. I'll have to look into your nUI_Chat, didn't know about that one. Does it work with Prat?

Edit: Thanks Xrystal, your Chat addon works. It doesn't fix the Combat window settings obviously, but I find that keeping all that stuff in a separate chat window is actually working out well for me.
