I sent my donation. This isn't a mod pack, keep on them at curse. It is a single folder. Let me know if you need help with the campaign. :-)

unit frames

i got an idea.. do you think there is a way to make the unit frames automitically set to player if your ungroupped and switch to party when you join a party and then if you join a raid or convert to a raid it puts you in 10 man setup?

this would be an awsome feature.. and later all the button would be needed for is to determine the particular raid format 10, 15, 20, 25 or 40

even better, when you join AV it defaults to 15, AB to 40man, and so on..

even could set it to change to a specific setup depending on what raid instance you enter
.
just some thought

thanks for the ui Awesome.. you have something coming your way soon..

EDIT... The movers arent saving their position after moving them. when i log back on they move back to default position. not a big deal but rather a nuisance

That is a great idea. When I enter a raid my 25 man sRaidFrame frames automagically pop up. If you could automate that process it makes it easier for noobs like me to know what's happening when joining a pug or getting random invites. As usual, I have no idea how hard that would be to code but it is a very convenient feature. :-)

In celebration of this new release I think we should all send some money how little even we can share so Scott can celebrate this in a proper fashion and one he deserves for all the sleepless nights he's put in to get us this great mod

Thank You sooooo much Spiel. Great work. Beign looking forward to this and, as usual, you have made this awsome. Well Done mate.

One little problem. I don't seem to have a reputation bar. I have the XP bar on the left hand side just below the chat frame, but i can't seem to find the Rep bar.

Other than that great work, and it seems to be much more resource friendly as well (i am running on a really old and crappy computer atm so yeah it makes all the diffrence)

Thanx again mate.

Edit: Never mind about the rep bar. i jumped back to the release notes and notced it hasnt been added yet. That will teach me for not reading the notes.

The best UI I ever used

WoW.

Just.... wow. I have played for a couple of years now, always casual, but always looking for a way to improve the UI. Never liked the original one, not enough info in it. Having the coding skills of a dead snail (i.e. none), I have relied on other peoples work, trying to create a look with all the info and buttons on the bottom of the screen (I like to have all the buttons visible, don't like scrolling due to arthritic fingers). I have messed around with Eepanels and various barmods, never getting it quite right.

And then came nUI. Excactly what I have been trying to create myself, all in one package, easy to set up and use. I dont think I'll have to look for a new UI again

I still use various other addons, like Titan and Fubar because I like to have lots of info available, but my effective addon-list has been decimated! I like

This just became the first mod I ever supported financially, something I never expected to happen, to be honest.

I'm looking forward to try out the new beta now.

/Bows down to Spiel for his excellent work

One thing; you've outdone yourself, how will you ever be able to impress us with future releases ? Beta you say ? I've seem RC software that was less stable/useable then your alphas (the v1 alphas)

Ok, I'll admit I was only able to play with the new version for about 10 minutes but if v1 was great, this is a masterpiece...

I probably should not post this here as there's a really good chance the people I'm talking about are going to read this since I directed them to this project as an example of my work... but I just had a job interview this morning that really pushed my buttons. I thought it went well. I *really* like what this company is doing and how they're doing and it's the first interview I've done in a very long time where I really felt like the people who interviewed me knew what they were doing and would be the kind of people I could look forward to spending 1/3 of my life around.

I *really* want this job... so... everyone get together and let's do a collective 'ohhmmmmmmmmm' and send out the positive vibe.

~lol~

On a more related note... I wanted to thank everyone for the positive feedback on last night's public release of the Beta 2. It's gone smoothly so far with only some minor hiccups. I'm relieved. So, I'll be attending to the few bugs that came up and adding more of the missing features... I'll have an update out tomorrow.

I also want to put out one last call to my German and Chinese translators... I haven't heard from either of you. If you don't want to continue on the project, I have no problem with that and DEEPLY appreciate everything you've already done... just let me know. Otherwise, if there's just a conflict or you have questions, please let me know that, as well.

Thanks much to everyone for their ongoing support.

You are correct... and I'm not convinced that I'm going to bring back the yofs or yofs2 commands. Are they needed once the Titan and Fubar support are back?

Spiel: Leaps tall buildings with mechanical assistance and software guidance systems which he designed and coded himself.

WoWInterface Staff: Makes very high marks on buildings while attempting to leap them.

Gah... figures. I have kept pretty much all of the option saving features turned off so I didn't have to keep dealing with options changing as I was going through the alpha phase on Beta 2 and completely forgot to turn the movers back on before the public release. My apologies and thanks for reminding me. It will be in the next update.

As for your idea... I really like it and I'll add it to the to-do list, though I'm not sure when I'll get to it as there's a long list of other things like rogue combo points and such I *really* need to get back in place first. But this is a great idea and it will happen. Thanks for suggesting it.

Seer, Kyrissaean and GothicKnight --

I just wanted to say thank you, too, to all three of you for the kind words. I have worked my butt into the ground on this release and the kind words really do mean a lot. Thank you very much for your continued support.

I second the motion. Will be sending you something myself again (later on this month after pay day! ) for your work - really fabulous job.

Sounds like a great idea and would be perfect to implement if not too much hassle...

Another thing that's not saving itself is the HUD scale. I also noticed that if I use /nui hud scale 0.65 (that's the size I prefer), it won't work at first - I have to use something like 0.6 or 0.7, then retry 0.65 and it'll work.

Keep up the great work Spiel and good luck again mate!

Wow, Just got into Wow after the maintenance.

I noticed that the bags are above the minimap, half covered. I moved it to below the minimap. However, it moves right back after I relog.
I use FuBar panels, top and bottom. nUI does not adjust for them.

Great work!

This might be because you use a UI scale (in the video options - "Use UI Scale"). If you turn it off, the bag bar always appears in the correct position. I had the same problem too, but now I'm not using the UI Scale and the problem's gone (and I'm seeing much better too!)

I just want to echo what everyone else has already said here - great work, keep it up, you're the man! OK now on to my usual cheerio peeing...

I gotta say, when I saw the beta version up for download finally, I was pretty excited! When I logged in, though, I didn't have any of the health bars int he dashboard, and the minimap was in its default spot. I'm not sure if I missed any special instructions, but it seems just pasting the new version over the old might lead to these anomalies. All looked well after a fresh install, untill I hit Pounce and realize I had no idea where my combo points were! Luckily(?) for me the bug that makes the default combo point display still visible down where the player window used to be is still in effect . It looks like you're working on it so enough about that.

Did something happen to the built-in threat meter at the center of the screen? I know I poo poo'd it at first but have since grown used to it (and the handy name of who the mob is targetting front and center). All I could see while in a group for the last hour was the health race bar.

A great new release overall. More testing and impressions to come - I know you're excited!

Neh, thanks for the work and your support to all posters here.

As a quick side note, tried v2 with the lich beta, afraid you're going to have to do a lot of tweaking and fixing...

But, hope you take some time to enjoy the beta before you start coding for it. Lich is great, IMHO..
