nUI Release v 5.01.012 and patch 3.1.0

I read the announcement nUI *is* working with WoW 3.1 and download the last version with the title 5.01.013 Release, I deleted the older folder and disable all add ons.

In the welcome message is 5.01.012 and still having the same crash, no character or target image or minimap, the combat log is over the general log too.

Im waiting for nUI+ aproval to try other version.

Thanks for the time spend and great add on.

I am having the same issues. The file downloaded says v 5.01.013 but 5.01.012 is loading. My mini map is not attached, i have no character frames, recount, omen not linked. I can understand omen and recount not linking after i turned off all other addons, but i have no character frames which makes it really hard to manage my mana when i cant see it. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated so that I can once again play to the style i am used to, having all my action bars nicely configured.

Edit - As far as I know, I have downloaded nUI +

Did you notice that the message you read said that if you are *NOT* running version nUI+ Development 5.02.00 or 5.02.01 then you are *NOT* running the correct version?

You have installed the wrong version.

I've quoted the relevant part below starting with the paragraph you missed... You need to complete the rest of the steps in the quote in order to get the correct version...

*PLEASE* if you find your copy of nUI is not working like it is supposed to, first make sure you have the right version installed. When you log in to WoW, nUI will print the welcome message. If that message does not say "nUI+ Development Version 5.02.00 is loaded" or "nUI+ Development Version 5.02.01 is loaded" then you DO NOT have the right version installed and that's the problem.

If you do not have that version of nUI installed, then you need to go to http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/cat137.html and download the current "nUI+ (Development)" version that is listed there. As of tonight, that is version 5.02.01

If you go to that link and you get a message that says you do not have permission to view that page, then you need to complete steps 1 through 5 in the instructions that were included in the original "Welcome to the nUI Newsletter" e-mail you received after you confirmed your subscription.

If you haven't yet subscribed to the free nUI Newsletter, then go to http://www.nuiaddon.com/plus.html and submit your request to join the mailing list. After you complete the confirmation of your subscription, you will be e-mailed instructions on how to access the nUI+ download area here on WoWInterface.

I read, but I understand Developement is beta and Release is final. The download page only release the 5.01.013 to download, and the link http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/cat137.html tells me You are not authorized to view this category.

If the 5.01.013 is not the final and correct version, why the download page link it ?

Sorry then what I see is need to register in the nUI+ group, wait to release aproval and download the working version. Its right ? If Its wrong please tell me I have to do because I dont have much english knowledge.

Once more, great add on and Im waiting for the nUI+ group aproval

Your request for access has been approved, so you should be able to download the correct version now.

You are correct that normally the "release" would be the version that everyone wants. However, the 3.1 patch only just went live on Tuesday which means this is all new code dealing with new bugs and is not a "stable" version of nUI, therefore, right now there is *no* release version of nUI that works with 3.1 -- they are all development versions while I work on getting them to be reliable and stable. Once that happens, then I will create the release versions.

I cann not go to the page for download the new version of NUI I use acctually the nUI v5.01.013 Release but it's not working.

And when I want to access to the link for new version, it's tell me You don't have access to this page.

Ok, I got it now. I had to delete all versions of nUI, then redownload nUI +. Now everything is working, so far, have to reactivate the other addons so we will see. Thank you.
