@Haleth: Is the orange color your hp LOST? or current HP? Cause well if it's your current then I'll gladly say that imo it works kinda contraproductive.

The bright colour is the health lost, makes it stand out much more for healers who they need to heal.

And it's orange because it's a colour gradient :> it turns from green to red depending on high or low health.

Frankly I think I've hit a home run with this. All credits for the design/idea go to nin of course, these raid frames are a ripoff because I can't think of anything better for healers and I've always loved them.

The dps/tank ones are still the previous ones, I think I'll keep them like that.

In that case it's good. Using classcolors wouldn't hurt either but that doesn't really matter.

Imo stick to the same thing on your DPS/Tank. From a functional kind of view it just makes more sense imo.

Yeah, that's what I planned to.

I just used the heal layout on my warrior there so I could test it, because I don't have any healers myself.

And Wimpface, I really don't take any credits for it because they're really a copy of nin's layout.

Only the code is my own.

I wasn't saying I'll come for the raid frames. I'm saying I'll come for the entire UI. It's fantastic and you know it. ;p

Credit where credit is due though, I modify a lot of code from other addons. But, I have indeed spent a lot of time on the UI (way too much...

). I'm quite happy with it now.

After much appreciated comments, and sifting through things ppl have said, I reworked the entire thing. I have to say I am attached to how this looks now.

I still have the fine tuning to do, but you get the general idea.

@blkdrgn I typically hate "blocking in" everything and especially at the bottom of the UI but I think you have done so in a pleasant taste - astetically I dislike the different height of the Minimap - make it the same as the other all the way across or make your chatframe and minimap the same height.

Not a fan of portraits either but in this UI it looks good cause it follows the shape of the Minimap.

The gap between your minimap and the center - is that where your damage meter shows? if so, meh I understand...just hate when a UI looks like its only half symetrical with a symetrical layout (hope that makes sense).

I know this is "screen shots of your ui" and this screen is more or less just a screen of unit frames but I thought I'd post something I was toying around with. Not sure if I'll use it but you lot might get some ideas from it

i just like browsing through interface threads from beginning to end from time to time to see how custom uis developed over the years. maybe i'm the only one like that but as this thread is about screen shots of your ui, i thought a screen shot of my ui kinda somehow fits?! be it a trendy pixel font minimalistic ui or something from back in the days.
