Localisation stay english

My friend and me using lasted version of carbonite on wow french. He have carbonite localised in french but my version stay in english (maybe because my OS is seven and no exist french UI in this system). Is possible to force localisation ?

I think this is determined when you install the game. Did you have a choice of languages? I don't know if you are able to change it once you've installed. Hopefully someone else can give a better answer...

Locale of carbonite definitely based on game locale itself. No other way around, although at this time main carbonite locale is still english only.

Couldn't you just make an addon named "!something" to hook GetLocale?

Is there any plan or way to translate a lot of things in carbonite?

There is no plan currently. We have enough work to do just keeping the 3 non English languages we do support working.

I think some people have translated much of the strings in the Carbonite.lua file to Russian or others languages, but those are not official versions.
