huh? Did you just mistakenly type the wrong dimensions? Those are *not* powers of 2. See Phanx's earlier post for examples.

Powers of 2 means x=2^y, not x%2==0

no that's what I set it to. I was also partially half asleep so I didn't put much though behind it.

Additionally make sure to restart after adding new textures. Any added files need a game restart.

Overwriting the file with a new copy only requires a /reload though... presumably by this time the file is already there and you're just overwriting it with new versions.

Also to note, there are lower and upper limits to which a texture won't load. I don't remember exactly, but I think the range is between 8 and 1024. This means you can't load a 4x4 image and expect it to work, even though it follows the powers of 2 rule. Same applies to a 2048x512 image, even though one dimension is valid. This means any given dimension has to be of either 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, or 1024.
