Chat names

I know that having something like
CHAT_PARTY_GET = '%s:\32'
will return the party chat with just a name in color like this
Politig: this is a message
and CHAT_PARTY_GET = '[%s]:\32' will return
[Politig]: this is another message
but how do you make these for channels like general and trade? They just show up as
Politig: I'm spamming trade
and I would like to put brackets around the name, but I don't know what code to put in. Any help?
